Since moving to Berlin, it’s taken me a lot longer than I expected to set up my studio and find a rhythm and momentum of work in a new place. I have spent the year experimenting with new clays and new forms, letting my instinct and fingers guide me.

At the beginning of April I was lucky enough to squeeze in a brief trip to Paris and of course, I had to re-visit one of my favourite places - a workshop preserved and resonant with the spirit and energy of the maker.

I have never followed one career path in life and so a studio for me is a space that allows me to be artistic in many ways.
